Utilization and Satisfaction to Community Health Service among Residents of Haidian District of Beijing City

Abstract

Objectives To investigate the health-care utilization and satisfaction among residents in communities of Haidian district in Beijing,and to find the influencing factors.Methods 2 103 residents in Haidian above 15 were selected through typical sampling method.A questionnaire survey was conducted among them.One-way ANOVA was used for statistical analysis.Results 1 724(82.00%)residents knew about the community health service(CHS),and 1 033(49.12%)people had sought CHS.The satisfaction degree in convenience,waiting time and service attitude were higher than other aspects.On the contrary,the satisfaction degree in medical level,equipment and service items were lower.Conclusions Although the awareness rate of CHS was high,the utilization rate was low due to the limited technical level and poor service conditions.Thus,CHS institutions should enhance the level of medical services and develop the function of CHS to meet the health care need of residents.
