Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy(PCNL) with holmium laser. Methods The clinical data of 41 inpatients treated by PCNL with holmium laser during October 2007 and March 2008 were retrospectively analyzed, and the operative duration and stone-free rate and complications were summarized. Results The operative duration was(162.4±43.2)min.The stone-free rate was 70.7%,open operation were required in 2 cases(4.9%),and the total complication rate was 29.3%.Conclusion Percutaneous nephrolithotripsy is effective and safe for the treatment of renal caculi.
