Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of tonifying kidney and eliminating stasis in treatment of prostatic hyperplasia. Methods A total of 62 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia during September 2011 and December 2012 were randomly divided into therapy group(n=32) treated with tonifying kidney and eliminating stasis and control group(n=30) treated with QIANLIE KANG tablets, and the clinical effects were observed, and International Prostate of Sign Scores(IPSS) of two groups were also added up after 30 days of treatment. Results Total effective rate of therapy group(90.6%) was higher than 76.7% of control group(P0.05).The IPSS decreased significantly in the two groups after treatment than those before treatment(P0.05).The difference of IPSS in the two groups after treatment was not statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion The tonifying kidney and eliminating stasis in treatment of prostatic hyperplasia may be effective.
