Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the effects of the Hazel's flower on superoxide dismutase SOD and malondialdehyde MDA in serum of diabetic mice. METHODS The diabetic model of mice was induced by alloxan. The activity of SOD and content of MDA in serum were measured by colorimetric method before and after treatment. RESULTS The Hazel's flower increased the activity of SOD and decreased the content of MDA in serum. CONCLUSION The Hazel's flower could clear the free radicals and has the effect of anti-lipid peroxidation.
