Abstract
In this article,we discuss the isoamyl acetate sythesized by using acetic acid and isoamyl alcohol as materials with nano-Y2O3 as catalyzer, including the consumption of catalyst, proportion of acid alcohol, reaction time made to reaction results. The synthetics are analyzed by means of IR spectra. The experimental results shows that the optimum conditions for the synthesis of isoamyl acetate over nano-Y2O3 are:molar ratio of acetic acid to isoamyl being 1∶2.0,the consumption of catalyst being 0.3 g(based on 0.1 mol of glacial acetic acid),water carrying reagent cyclohexane is 10.0 mL,reaction temperature between 110~124 ℃,reaction time 2.0 h,the ratio of esterification 88.2%.
