Abstract
This paper introduced a process of preparing isoamyl acetate from acetic acid and isoamyl alcohol with non-acid catalyst. And investigated the influences of different kinds of catalysts, molar ratio of isoamyl alcohol to acetic acid, the amount of catalysts, time and temperature on the reaction. The optimizedconditions are as follows: molar ratio of acetic acid to isoamyl alcoholand SnCl4·5H2O are 1:1.20:0.02;the reaction time is 45min;the reaction temperature is 118~138℃.The results showed that the esterification rate is over 93.61%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
