On the New Pattern of Xinjiang Regional Economic Development

Xinjiang regional economic development,the strategic planning and the implementation,and the economical pattern evolution bear marked regional characteristics and potential momentum of development.There have been successively Y-type economy belt development strategy,the economic circle development strategy along the Tianshan Mountains flanks,five big economic regions,and the coordinated economic development strategy along the Tianshan Mountain slopes.In the new phase of development in the 21st century,to plan regional economic development according to the main function regionalization and construction is of strategic significance.This paper puts forwards eight proposals on the implementation of a interactive and coordinated development of Xinjiang on the principle of main function regionalization and construction,and on the formulation of Xinjiang's regional planning and development strategies in line with its new economic development pattern.
