HEALTH SITUATION AND UTILIZATION OF COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES AMONG COMMUNITY RESIDENTS IN SOME DISTRICT OF CHENGDU

Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the health situation and Utilization of Community Health Services among Community Residents in some district of Chengdu.[Methods]We selected six communities,1 058 families and 2 850 residents were randomly selected in some district of Chengdu.[Results]The prevalence per two weeks was 4.4%,the age was the main risk factor;The prevalence of chronic diseases was 5.5%,the age and whether on the job were the risk factors;Two-week Visit Rate was 40‰.On the whole,after illness,the utilization situation of health services was better;In the selection of medical units,the primary was hospital of provincial level or beyond,the secondly was Municipal Hospitals.[Conclusion]The health situation of residents is well,but utilization of community health services is worse.What should to be done is to reinforce community health service to satisfy residents' demand.
