STUDY ON EFFECT OF TWO BRANDS OF DETERGENTS ON LIPID PEROXIDATION IN MICE.

Abstract

Objective:To study the effect of two brands of detergents on lipid peroxidation in mice.Methods:The detergent solution of doses of 1/40,1/20 and 1/10LD 50 were taken freely by mice for 30 days.The content of serum malondialdehyde(MDA) and activity of serum superoxide dismutase(SOD) in mice were measured after 30 days,respectively.Result:The two brands of detergents could increase the content of serum MDA and decrease the activity of serum SOD in mice( P 0 05).Conclusion:The detergents might damage the body because of its effect of increasing lipid peroxidation.
