Correlation between Expression of c-erbB-2,p53,ER and PR in Breast Cancer and Patient's Prognosis

Objective:To explore the correlation between the metastasis of axillary lymph nodes and clinical stages and the expression of c-erbB-2,p53,ER and PR in breast cancer.Methods:The expression of c-erbB-2,p53,ER and PR was detected by immunohisto chemical technique in 80 cases of breast cancer.Results:①The positive rate of expression of c-erbB-2,p53,ER,PR was 48.75%(39/80),56.25%(45/80),52.5%(42/80)and 58.75%(47/80)respectively.②The positive rate of expression of c-erbB-2,p53 in the positive group with the expression of ER,PR was lower than that in the negative group(p0.05).The positive rates of expression of c-erbB-2,p53 in the group with the lymph node metastasis was higher than that in non-lymph node metastasis group(p0.05).③ER expression had a positive correlation with PR expression.No significant association of expression of ER,PR with clinical stages and histological types was noted.Conclusion:c-erbB-2,p53,ER,PR and the occurrence and development of breast cancer are interrelated.It is an important index to guide endocrine treatment.It is helpful for objectively estimating biological behavior of breast cancer and judging the patient's prognosis.
