Adefovir dipivoxil combined with oxymatrine capsule in chronic hepatitis B treatment

Objective: To observe effects of adefovir dipivoxil combined with oxymatrine capsule on chronic hepatitis B(CHB),and effects on hepatitis B virus deoxyribonucleic acid(HBV DNA).Methods: 164 cases of CHB were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,82 cases in the treatment group with application of adefovir dipivoxil and oxymatrine capsule,82 cases in the control group only with adefovir dipivoxil,and the course of treatment was 12 months.Every 3 months,liver function tests,hepatitis B virus serological markers,HBV DNA were respectively analyzed.40 patients(20 in each group) were performed two liver biopsy tests before and after treatment.Results: After 12 months of treatment,the treatment group and the control group HBV DNA had significant difference(P0.05),the treatment group HBV DNA expression level was significantly lower than the control group,most patients with liver histologic improvement.Conclusion: Adefovir dipivoxil combined with oxymatrine capsule can improve the effect of treating CHB to some extent.
