Observation on curative effect of adefovir dipivoxil combined with oxymatrine in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B patients with positive HBeAg and non-response to interferon

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of adefovir dipivoxil combined with oxymatrine in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B patients with positive HBeAg and non-response to interferon.Methods The data of 40 chronic hepatitis B patients with positive HBeAg and non-response to interferon who were treated in infection department of our hospital from 2011 to 2012 were selected.All patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the different treatment methods,and each group had 20 cases.The patients in the two groups were both treated with adefovir dipivoxil,while the patients in the observation group were added with oxymatrine tablets orally for 12 months,and the biochemical and viral indexes of liver function of patients were measured before and after the treatment.Results The biochemical and viral indexes of liver function of patients in the observation group improved significantly,which were better than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Adefovir dipivoxil combined with oxymatrine in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B patients with positive HBeAg and non-response to interferon can effectively inhibit the HBV replication in vivo,has a better improvement of liver function and anti-fibrosis,and has a satisfactory results.
