Efficacy on Gastric Cancer at the Later Stage Treated with Timing Medication of Jianpi Fuzheng Decoction and Chemotherapy at Time Division

Objective To observe the impacts on the life quality and immune function for the patients with gastric cancer at the later stage in the treatment with timing medication of jianpi fuzheng decoction allied with chemotherapy at time division of FOLFOX program.Methods 80 cases were divided randomly into two groups.The chemotherapy at time division of FOLFOX program was adopted in either group,in which 21 days made 1 circle.The efficacy was assessed in 2 circles.In treatment group,the timing medication of jianpi fuzheng decoction was supplemented.In control group,the non-timing medication of jianpi fuzheng decoction was applied.14 days made 1 session.The efficacy was assessed in 2 sessions.The changes in clinical symptoms,life quality,immune function and toxic side reaction were observed.Results In the comparison of the life quality between two groups,the food intake was increased by 75.0% in treatment group and by 55.0% in control group;the sleep was improved by 80.0% in treatment group and by 57.0% in control group(P0.05).In comparison of the immune function,after treatment,the ratio of CD3+,CD4+/CD8+ in treatment group was higher remarkably than that before treatment(P0.01);that in control group was lower remarkably as compared with that before treatment(P0.05).Conclusion The treatment with timing medication of jianpi fuzheng decoction allied with chemotherapy at time division of FOLFOX program improves the organic immune function and life quality and prolongs the life span for the patients with gastric cancer at the later stage.
