Analysis on abnormality of chromosome karyotype from lympocytes of periphoral blood in 208 cases.

Objective: To summarize the abnormality of chormosome karyotype of the patients in our department during the period of 1985.1 to 2003.6. Methods: To analyze the chromosome karyotypes of periphoral lymphocytes in 2091 patients by G-banding. Results:Of 2091 cases,208 cases with abnormal chromosomes karyotype were diagnosed.The abnormal rate is 9.95%.Conclusion: Chormosome abnormality will lead to various of diseases and endanger the descendant's growth .Necessary diagnosis of chromosome is an important mesure for improving birth outcome and child development.
