Abstract
The activity of protease in the digestive system of Rana nigromaculata was analyzed by Folin-method. The optimum pH value of the prot ease in esophagus, stomach, fore gut, hind gut, rectum and pancreas was 1 5, 1 5, 7 4, 7 4, 7 4 and 9 6, respectively. The optimum temperature was 55, 55 , 50, 50, 50 and 50℃, respectively. The protease activity changes in different parts of the digestive system: pancreasesophagusstomach fore guthind gutrec tum. According to the characteristic of protease, some suggestions on the artifi cial culture of frog is given in this paper.
