Abstract

The distribution of amylase in the digestive tract of Rana nigromaculata and the effects of pH,temperature and NaCl on the activity of amylase were studied by salicylic colorimetric method. The results indicated that the order of amylase activity in different parts from high to low was midgut, hindgut, foregut, stomach and esophagus, respectively. The optimum pH values of the amylase in stomach and intestine were 7.4 and 8.0,respectively,and their optimum temperature was equally 35℃.NaCl had stimulatory effect on the activity of amylase and its optimum concentration was 0.15mol/L.
