Abstract

Objective: To explore and discuss on the elderly self ratting health status and the relevant factors.Methods:Using the self-rated health rating scale(SRHMS) and a self-edited questionnaire to assess the results of self-rated physical health status,mental health and social health from the elderly above the age of 60,and to investigate the effects of the relevant factors including age,gender,occupation,education level,income level and other demographic variables on elderly self-rated health status.Results:There are difference of the elderly self-rated health status in the aspects of age,gender,occupation,education level and income level.Conclusion:By a variety of ways to carry out advertise and education of older physiological health knowledge,taking care of the elderly Citizens'mental health,perfect the social security system and service system and other measures to improve the elderly's quality of life,physical and mental health and social cognition
