Abstract
Objective To explore the related factors which influencing quality of life among the military elderly population in Xi'an. Methods The quality of life for 934 military elderly in Xi'an was measured with the MOS SF-36 questionnaire. Results There were significant correlation in the quality of life between age, the families' concern, self-evaluated curative effect, the self-charge of the medical expense and the health evaluation by himself. Conclusions Health policy for elderly people should be formulated to modify the influencing factors of QOL, so as to improve QOL of elderly people from general health to mental health.
