Abstract

The analysis on the social support of the elderly and the influence on their mental health and personality can help us know mental health status of the elderly objectively.Through carrying out random sampling investigation and statistical analysis on the retired teachers of certain university,it considers that social support of elderly plays a very important role to mental health and personality development of the elderly,more social support should be given to the male elderly.
