Investigation and analysis of the hand hygiene compliance among training staff

Objective To explore the hand hygiene compliance of training staff and its influencing factors,then to provide the basis for their hand hygiene management.Methods A total of 1 240 cases from hospitals with different levels were involved.They were observed by the specially trained staff from hospital infection management departments,according to an unified observation form about the hand hygiene behavior.Results The compliance rate of hand hygiene was 35.28%.There were statistical differences among nurses from different-level hospitals(P0.01).With the growth of training time,the rates increased from 14.67% to 58.45%.Conclusion The rate of hand hygiene compliance among training staff is low,and it is necessary to take specific measures to gradually improve their hand hygiene compliance.
