Abstract

High speed cutting is an important development direction of the advanced manufacturing technology. The concept of high speed cutting is introduced firstly in this paper. Then the advantages and application of high speed cutting are expounded. And more attention is paid to the development of the key technology about the high speed cutting,such as high-speed spindle unit,high-speed feed system and high-speed cutting tool technology etc. And the development trend of the future is proposed.
