Abstract
As one of the advanced manufacturing technologies,high speed cutting is the inexorable trend of manufacturing industries and its application is expected to improve the machining efficiency and machining quality enormously.High speed cutting technology involves not only the high speed machining process and high speed cutting mechanisms,but also a considerable variety of related factors,such as tools and machine tools for high speed cutting.Attention is focused on the research status of various technologies related to high speed cutting in this paper.Moreover,the application prospect of high speed cutting technology is also analyzed.
