The Study of Autonomous Learning Under the Dual-Axis Teaching Model

With the development of society,to improve learners' autonomous learning has become one of the teaching aims in college English teaching.The paper first explores the necessity of autonomous learning and then analyzes the disadvantages and problems of traditional teaching model and internet-based teaching model.Based on the discussion,the author proposes a new teaching model,that is,dual-axis teaching model.At last,the author puts forward some suggestions for teachers and students under the new teaching model so that it can really improve students' autonomous learning.
