Abstract
A new flow control valve used for high pressure common rail system was introduced. The finite element analysis for 2D electromagnetic fields of the solenoid valve was carried out by using Maxwell 2D software. The magnetic force in the condition of different air gap and current was analyzed. Some influencing factors, such as effective working area,a mature depth and magnetic material, were discussed in detail. The experimental results show that the method of finite element analysis can be used for the development of solenoid valve, and the common rail pressure fluctuation can be controlled within 5% by using the new flow control valve.
