Abstract
A new type of flow-controlled valve for high pressure common rail system is introduced. 2D electromagnetic fields analysis of solenoid valve is carried out by Maxwell 2D software. Magnetic forces under different air gap and electronic current are analysed. Other factors such as effective working area, armature depth and magnetic material are also concerned. Structural optimization thus are conducted. Experiment results demonstrate that the optimized valve meet the flow control need well and realize stable and fine common rail pressure control.
