Abstract
Objective: A HPLC method for determination of berberine hydrochloride in Rhizoma Coptidis and its concentrated granule for prescription was developed. Methods: C 18 column as the stationary phase and 0.05% mol/L sodium dihydrogen phosphate-acetonitrile (adjust pH to 3 with phosphoric acid) (70∶30) as the mobile phase, 270 nm as the detector wavelength. Results: The linear relationship of calibration curves was good in the range of 0.44~2.20 μg. The average recovery was 99.03%(n=6).Conclusion: The method was simple, accurate and reliable.
