Abstract
Flavonoids were extracted from leaf of Platycladus orientalis, and used to treat mice at the dose of 1.0,2.0 g/kg.Loaded swimming time, content of blood urea nitrogen(BUN),malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in the liver tissue were determined after 30 days. The results showed that the loaded swimming time was very significantly prolonged in flavonoids treated groups compared with control group;and was very significantly different between high-dose group and low-dose group. The content of BUN,MDA was significantly decreased in flavonoids treated groups;while SOD content was very significantly increased. But there was no significant difference between high-dose group and low-dose group in these indexes.
