Abstract

Objective: To investigate the anti-aging effect of Flavonoids of Mulberry leaves on the aging-model.Methods: ①Sixty mice were divided into six groups: normal control group(N),aging model group(C),low dose group of Flavonoids of Mulberry leaves(L),middle dose group of Flavonoids of Mulberry leaves(M),high dose group of Flavonoids of Mulberry leaves(H),and Vitamin C group. The aging mice models were established by subcutaneous administration with a dose of D-galactose to mice for 30 days in addition to N group. In the mean time, the mice receive corresponding Flavonoids of Mulberry leaves,Vitamin C.After for 30 days, the levels of SOD,MDA and LPO were determined from blood glucose.②The same group with the above, the aging mice models were established by a dose of Progesterone(20 mg/kg)incorporating ultraviolet′s radiation to mice for 30 days. The levels of CAT,GSH-PX were determined from blood glucose, the water content of skin after 30 days. Results: The high dose could lower significantly the levels of MDA and LPO(P0.01).The high and middle doses could increase significantly the levels of SOD,GSH-PX,improved the water content of skin(P0.01).Conclusion: Flavonoids of Mulberry leaves possesses the definite function of anti-aging.
