Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect of clinical nursing path in application of nursing in the prostate. Methods:96 cases of patients with benign prostate hyperplasia, undergoing transurethral resection of the prostate treatment in our hospital, were randomly divided into two groups, the control group was given conventional nursing, the observation group received clinical nursing pathway. Comparisons were made between the two groups of patients in terms of hospitalization time, cost of treatment, nursing satisfaction rate, and complications. Results:The observation group the average hospitalization time, cost of treatment were significantly shorter than the control group (less than);nursing satisfaction rate in observation group was significantly higher than the control group;the complication rate of observation group was significantly lower than the observation group;each group of data were statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion:The application of clinical nursing pathway in nursing care of transurethral resection of the prostate, can effectively help patients postoperative recovery, reduce complications, and improve nursing satis-faction rate.
