Application Research of Clinical Nursing Pathway in Transurethral Vaporization of the Prostate

Abstract
Objective To observe the application effect of clinical nursing pathway in transurethral vaporization of the prostate.Methods We collected one hundred and twenty patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia who came to our department during 2009.03 to 2011.03 as research object.The were divided into two groups randomly:control group and pathway group.Each group had sixty cases.The control group was given perioperative routine nursing.The observation group was given nursing instruction according to nursing pathway list.The hospital stay,hospitalization expenses,health knowledge score and nursing service satisfaction rate of two groups was compared.Results Hospital stay and hospitalization expenses of pathway group was lower than that of control group(P0.05).Health knowledge score and nursing service satisfaction rate was higher than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion The clinical nursing pathway help improving nursing care quality and recovery.
