Abstract

Objective:To explore the necessity and security of prenatal diagnosis with amniotic cell culture at 16 to 22 week gestation and to prevent the birth of chromosomal abnormal fetuses.Methods:G banding technique was used on cultured amniotic cells.Result:16 of 142 Gases was found chromosomal abnormal(11.27%,16/142),all the cases had no complications of amniocentesis.Conclusion: Amniotic cell culture is safe and reliable for prenatal diagnosis.
