Clinical effect of periocline on fistula chronic periapical periodontitis

【Objective】To evaluate the clinical effect of periocline as apical fistula and root canal disinfectant on fistula chronic periapical periodontitis.【Methods】Ninety-eight teeth in ninety-eight fistula chronic periapical periodontitis were divided into two groups,49 teeth each.The teeth in the treated group was administered with periocline,the teeth in the control group was administered traditional method,two weeks later,the response of two groups was evaluated.After six months,the results of periapical radiography were evaluated.【Result】The efficiency of the treated group was 93.88%,and the control group was 75.51%.There were significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).【Conclusion】Periocline can be used as apical fistula and root canal disinfection in treating fistula chronic periapical periodontitis,it can improve the clinical effect of periapical periodontitis.
