A long-term observation of the clinical effect of 48 cases after periapical curettage in the treatment of fistula periapical periodontitis

Abstract

Objective To discuss the Clinical Effect after Periapical Curettage in the treatment of fistula Periapical Periodontitis after perfect root-canal treatment.Methods 48 Cases of fistula Periapical Periodontitis over 6 months after perfect root-canal treatment are treated by Periapical Curettage.Results After 2 years of follow-up it shows that 93.8% of the 48 teeth treated gets good therapeutic effects.The curative effect in anterior teeth is better than that in bicuspid teeth.Conclusion Periapical Curettage is effective in the treatment of fistula Periapical Periodontitis.
