Abstract
The contents of ursolic acid and oleanolic acid in seeds of Perilla frutescens(L.) Britton were determined by RP-HPLC with photodiode array detector(PAD).Ursolic acid and oleanolic acid were separated and analyzed on Kromasil C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) using methanol-water(87∶13) as mobile phase at flow rate of 0.8 mL/min.UV detection wave length was set at 210 nm and the column temperature was set at 28 ℃.An average recovery rate of 100.6% was obtained with a RSD of 1.6% in the range of 10~400 μg/mL for ursolic acid, and an average recovery of 98.7% was obtained with a RSD of 1.2% in the range of 5~200 μg/mL for oleanolic acid.
