Abstract
A determination method of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in different parts of Pe rilla frutescens(L.) Britton was established by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography(RP-HPLC) with photodiode array detector, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis for two triterpene acids were further carried out.The method was carried on a Kromasil C18 column(4.6mm×250mm,5μm) and equivalent elution was achieved by methanol-0.2 % phosphoric acid solution(90:10,v/v) as the mobile phase. The flow rate was 0.8 mL/min and the detective wavelength was 210 nm,the column temperature was 25℃.Under these conditions, the calibration curves of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid were linear within the range from 0.1248μg to 2.496μg,0.2148μg to 4.368μg,and the average recovery were 98.5% and 101.3%,respectively.The method can accurately determine the contents of oleanolic acid and ursolic acid in different parts of P.frutescens(L.) Britton.
