Abstract
This paper analyzes the companies' requirements and needs for the applicants' English level,and,based on the present situation of the curriculum provision in higher vocational colleges,offers a few feasible suggestions for the English curriculum reform: introducing diverse English exam systems,adopting 1+X model for curriculum provision and popularizing workplace English,which will help the students' English level meet the companies' requirements and needs.
