Abstract

After the introduction of the background and necessity of setting up Business English major in the higher vocational institutes, this paper analyzes the current business English teaching status, the curriculum settings and the requirements. Business English major should be set for the cultivation of the students' Business English application competence, and the requirements of the practical job.
