Abstract
Transgenic rice plant was obtained by transferring the herbicide resistant gene bar into rice line E32 by pollen-tube pathway method. The transgenic rice plant was proved to have expressed good resistance to herbicide Basta. Analysis of PCR proved the integration of bar gene into the genome of the transgenic plant. Genetic analysis indicated that the bar gene was genetically delivered to the progeny. Breeding lines with consistent resistance were segregated in T 3 generation.
