Abstract
Herbicide-resistant Bar gene was introduced into Minghui 63 via Agrobacterium-mediated process and a total of 9 independently transformants was obtained,3 of which had single-copy insertions.Integration of Bar gene into rice genome was conformed through PCR and Southern blot.Homozygous families was obtained by seed germination and all these homozygous families showed highly resistance against herbicide Basta. These single-copy transformants could be used for the culture of resistance-herbicide and also produce new variety through backcrossing and crossing.
