Abstract

Objective To study the efficacy and adverse reaction of quetiapine in the treatment of schizophrenia.Methods 80 cases of schizophrenia patients were randomly diveded into two groups.One is given quetiapine and the other is given risperidone for 8 weeks.Evaluate the efficacy and adverse reaction by PANSS and TESS.Results The significant effective rate of the first group is 80.0%,and the other is 82.5%,Risperidone group has more adverse reaction in extrapytamidal system than that in quetiapine.Conclusion Quetiapine and risperidone in the treatment of schizophrenia were resemblely.
