Influence of somatostatin for the platelet related indexes and digestive function of patients with acute pancreatitis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence degree of somatostatin for the platelet related indexes and digestive function of patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods Sixty-eight patients with acute pancreatitis in our hospital from Oct. 2011 to Nov. 2013 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group with 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional treatment,while the observation group was treated with somatostatin based on the treatment of control group,then the platelet related indexes and digestive function of two groups before and after the treatment were compared. Results The platelet related indexes of observation group at 1st,3rd and 7th day after the treatment were all lower than those of control group,serum pancreatic digestive enzymes were lower than those of control group,and other digestive function indexes were all better than those of control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion The influence of somatostatin for the platelet related indexes and digestive function of patients with acute pancreatitis are great,and it is benefit for the improvement of microcirculation and digestive function state of acute pancreatitis patients.
