Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the relationship of expression of nm23 H1 and E Cadherin (E Cad) gene with histological type, pathological grading and metastasis. Methods:Catalyzed signal amplification immunohistochemical method was used to investigate the expression of nm23 H1 and E Cad gene in 52 cases of gallbladder carcinoma and 20 cases of gallbladder adenoma and 10 cases of chronic cholecystitis. Results:The positive rate of nm23 H1 and E Cad was 51.9% and 42.3%,which was positively correlated to the histological type, pathological grading and metastasis of carcinomas and chronic cholecystitis(P0.05) and lower than that in gallbladder adenoma respeltively. The expression of nm23 H1 was strongly associated with the expression of E Cad(P0.05). Conclusion:The results suggest that the expression of nm23 H1 and E Cad gene is associated with metastasis of gallbladder carcinoma, and it is helpful for the clinical doctors to determine the prognosis of gallbladder carcinoma patients .
