Shanpuxinnaoxin capsules in treatment of angina pectoris

Abstract

AIM: To evaluate the treatment effect of Shanpuxinnaoxin capsules on angina pectoris. METHODS: One hundred and one patients with angina pectoris were chosen voluntarily to use the shanpuxinnaoxin capsules (2 pills bid) for 4 wk. RESULTS: Ninety two patients (91.1%) of 101 patients effective. The frequency of episode of angina pectoris per week was dramatically decreased and the duration of angina pectoris was significantly shorten.All patients had no discomfort during the period of investigation. CONCLUSION: This result shows that Shanpuxinnaoxin capsules has a better treatment effect and is safe to be used in the treatment of angina pectoris.
