Ecological Civilization and Scientific Development:A Reading of China's Scientific Development from Ecological Civilization Proposed on the 17th CPC National Congress

In respect to the severe domestic ecological situation and in order to realize the harmonious development between man and nature,the 17th CPC National Congress put forward the concept of ecological civilization for the first time,setting the construction of ecological civilization as one of the goals of building a well-off society in an all-round way.To be specific,ecological civilization has a two-fold content: the spiritual and the material levels.It is the precondition of human sustainable development,and it is also an inevitable choice of the development of China in a scientific way.The construction of ecological civilization is a complicated and huge systematic project,which should be realized from the following three perspectives: policy making,means of production and individual behaviors.
