Modified ShengHuaTang Combined with Mifepristone and Misoprostol in Treating 200 Cases of Drug Abortion for Patients in Early Pregnancy

Abstract

Objective:To verify curative effects of modified ShengHuaTang combined with mifepristone and misoprostol in the treatment for drug abortion during early pregnancy.Method:All 200 patients were randomized into the treatment group and the control group.The control group received mifepristone and misoprostol.The treatment group took modified ShengHuaTang on the foundation of treatment given to the control group,water decocted,one dose each day,stopped till the result was complete abortion.Result:The rate of complete abortion in thetreatmentgroup was94.00%,higherthan 88.00%ofthe controlgroup and the difference showed statistical meaning(P0.05).Comparison between both groups presented the difference in bleeding time and recovery time of menstruation,the difference had statistical meaning(P0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of mifepristone and misoprostol combination of modified ShengHuaTang could improve the effects of drug abortion and shorten bleeding time.
