Abstract
Objective: To observe the effectiveness of early hypo-ovarianism treatment with the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. Method: Divide 120 cases of patients suffering from early hypo-ovarianism into two groups at a random sample, i..e. 60 patients in the treated group and 60 patients in the control group. The patients in the control group were treated with estrogenic sequential therapy while the patients in the treated group were added with traditional Chinese medicine besides the same therapy as the control group. Result: In the treated group 47 patients were cured, 7 patients were effective, 6 patients were ineffective and the total effective rate was 90% while in the control group 26 patients were cured, 10 patients effective, 24 patients were ineffective and the total effective rate was 60%. The comparison between the total effective rate of the two groups shows the difference has significance(P 0.05). Conclusion: The combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine is an effective way for early hypo-ovarianism treatment.
