Determination of the Contents of Lomefloxacin Hydrochloridum,Quercetin and Apigenin in Propolis from Different Production Areas by HPLC

Abstract

Objective To determine the contents of Lomefloxacin Hydrochloridum,Quercetin and Apigenin in propolis from different production areas and compare their discrepancies.Methods The contents of Lomefloxacin Hydrochloridum,Quercetin and Apigenin in 6 kinds of Propolis from Henan and Hunan were determined by HPLC with Hypersil-ODS column.The mobile phase was the mixture of methanol-water-phosphate(168.75:44.8:0.2)with the flow rate of 0.7 ml/min.The detection wavelength was 273 nm and the column temperature 26.8℃.External standard method was used for measurement.Results The propolis from different production areas has different quota composition.Conclusion This method is simple,accurate and with good reproducibility,which can be used to determine the contents of Lomefloxacin Hydrochloridum Quercetin and Apigenin in Propolis,compare with the composition of propolis from different areas,distinguish their genuine and sham,good and bad.
