Comparisonas of contents of baicalein and galangin in propolis of different origins

Abstract
Objective To compare the contents of baicalein and galangin in propolis of different origins.Methods The contents of baicalein and galangin in 13 kinds of prololis of different origins were determinated by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The samples were separeted by C18 cloumn with the mobile phase of methanol-0.15% phosphoric(60∶40) and methanol-0.15% phosphoric(65∶35),the wavelength of detection was 268 nm.Results Five samples were collected in each area.The contents of baicalein and galangin in propolis of Jilin Jiaohe and Henan Changge were higher,all over 2.0% and 1.8%,and the former was higher than the later(P0.05);compared with the other 11 areas,there were significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion The contents of baicalein and Galangin in propolis of Jilin Jiaohe and Henan Changge are higher.
