Content analysis of puerarin in Yiqijiangtang capsules by HPLC

Abstract

Objective To establish an HPLC method for analyzing the content of puerarin in Yiqijiangtang capsule.Methods Samples were analyzed on an LUNA ODS C18 column(5 m,4.6 mm 200 mm)by using methanol-0.5%HAc(19∶81)as mobile phase.The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min and the detecting wavelength 250 nm.Results The linear range of puerarin was 0.0535-0.535 μg(r=0.9998).The average recovery was 96.32%(RSD=0.63%).Conclusion The method is reliable,accurate and specific.It can be used for the quality control of Yiqijiangtang capsule.
