Practical effects of clinical nursing pathway in the treatment of Graves disease

Abstract
Objectives To study the effects of clinical nursing pathway in the treatment of Graves disease.Methods Sixty-six patients with Graves disease were randomly divided into observation group ( n=33 ) and control group (n=33 ) .The control group was given conventional nursing.The observation group was given nursing according to clinical nursing pathway schedule. The average cost of hospitalization , average hospitalization days , patient satisfaction were compared between two groups.Results The average cost of hospitalization and average hospitalization days in the observation group were less than that in the control group.The knowledge evaluation on health education and satisfaction of patients in the observation group were better than that in the control group.Conclusion The application of clinical nursing pathway can reduce hospitalization days and cost , lighten the financial burden of patients , improve patient′s satisfaction and disease knowledge level.
